Community Development Law Clinic

The Community Development Law Clinic (CDLC) is one of the oldest law school clinics nationwide which provide students the opportunity to represent not-for-profit organizations and for-profit entities involved in community development and neighborhood revitalization.  Community economic development has been at the forefront of the fight against poverty over the last twenty-five years, creating systemic change in the pursuit of social and economic justice for low income people.  As part of its work, the CDLC has partnered with PCSE, initiating a University collaboration for the Chancellor’s South Side Initiative.
