Family Law and Social Policy Center

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY LAW AND SOCIAL POLICY CENTER HOMEPAGE

Our mission is to improve the quality of education for family law students, to encourage interdisciplinary family policy research and practice, to disseminate information on family law and social policy, and to foster community service for the benefit of
families and children.

Center for Family Law and Social PolicyThe Family Law and Social Policy Center offers students the opportunity to study an area of law in depth while performing useful work in that area.  The interdisciplinary nature of the center requires the students to bring not only legal resources to bear on an issue but to access other disciplines as well.  This process is essential to documenting success or failure in dealing with our social systems that regulate human behavior.  The benefits of this holistic approach are many: developing of professional skills and confidence, enhancing career opportunities and creating a new generation of lawyers ready to generate productive change in our world.
