A: It is strongly recommended that you live within walking distance of a Metro stop or other public transportation, though ride sharing has become ubiquitous. Students are responsible for securing their own housing.
A: DC, Philly, and NYC all have excellent public transportation. For the local program, a car is necessary for most placements. In all cases, students are responsible for travel to and from their placements.
A: You will not miss out. There will still be time to take the courses you need to succeed on the bar exam, even if you are a joint degree student.
A: Yes. Most journals have changed their bylaws to accommodate the long distance externship programs, but double check with the one(s) you are in!
