Admitted Student Checklist
- Submit online Intent to Register form and seat deposit in the amount of $1,000 by the deposit date listed on your Intent to Register form.
- Activate your Syracuse University NETID and University email account. You can find these instructions on the main Syracuse University website at: http://its.syr.edu/netid/
http://its.syr.edu/email/ - Take necessary steps to secure student visa. Submit required proof of financial support documentation to Office of Admissions for approval and creation of I-20 paperwork. Once I-20 paperwork is received, apply for student visa. Contact the Slutzker Center for International Services with questions. The Slutzker Center can be reached at 315-443-2457 or at http://international.syr.edu/.
- Secure housing arrangements. Suggestions for on-campus and off-campus housing options can be found here, or by visiting the HOUSING section of the admitted student website.
- Complete the SU Health Form. This must be done before you can be registered for classes.
- Have required laptop available for first day of classes.
- Pre-purchase parking permit (if needed) and textbooks.
