Adam J. Katz L'04
| United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of New York Assistant United States Attorney Adam J. Katz is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of New York, where he handles many of the district’s civil fraud prosecutions and other affirmative civil litigation. Adam previously served as a trial attorney with the Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division in Washington, D.C.; as an associate with the D.C. office of McDermott Will & Emery; and as a law clerk to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in Manhattan. Adam graduated cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law in 2004. While in law school, he was a member of the Syracuse Law Review, served a term as class president, and also earned a Master of Public Administration degree from the Maxwell School. Adam has held various leadership positions on Syracuse University Law Alumni Association’s board of directors, and currently serves as its president. |
