Chancellor Kent Syverud
Join Dean Craig M. Boise and members of the State and Federal Judiciary in New
York for lunch. The lunch, which precedes our afternoon preview of the SCOTUS
2018-19 Term, will feature Kent Syverud, Syracuse University’s 12th Chancellor
and President. An elected member of the American Law Institute, Chancellor
Syverud’s legal scholarship has addressed negotiation, civil litigation,
dispute resolution and higher education. A legal scholar and educator,
Chancellor Syverud counts among his closest mentors retired U.S. Supreme Court
Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, for whom he clerked shortly after she became the
first woman named to the Supreme Court bench. Learn
