The Cold Case Justice
Initiative (CCJI) will celebrate its 10-year anniversary during Syracuse Law
Alumni Weekend with an awards dinner on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, from
7:30-9:30 p.m.
Join the Cold Case Justice Initiative (CCJI) to
commemorate more than 10 years of seeking justice and accountability for
racially motivated killings during the Civil Rights Era. The celebration will
bring together CCJI alums, current student volunteers, victims’ family members,
advocates for racial justice, and many others who support CCJI’s efforts,
pedagogy, and professional ideals. Learn about CCJI’s continuing work on cases,
identification of victims of racial violence, and legislative advocacy in
helping ensure passage of the Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crimes
Reauthorization Act of 2016.
