Prior to joining the College of Law, John worked as a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society in Manhattan for six and a half years where he tried numerous felony and misdemeanor cases.  While at the Legal Aid Society, John was involved in training new attorneys joining the staff and supervised and mentored a law student through New York Law School’s criminal defense clinic.  John graduated from Hofstra University School of Law, where he participated in the Criminal Justice Clinic.
