Borrowing Privileges

Current students, faculty and staff of Syracuse University may borrow books from the Syracuse University College of Law Library.  To learn more about our borrowing policies, such as the length of the loan period and accrual of overdue charges, please see our Borrowing Privileges and Policies page.

Interlibrary Loan

If you need a book or a copy of an article that is not available on the Syracuse University campus, we will try to obtain a copy for you through interlibrary loan:

The Syracuse University College of  Law Library only provides this service to current Syracuse law students.  If you are a student in another department of Syracuse University, please submit your interlibrary loan requests through Bird Library.

Recall Items

If an item that you would like to see is currently checked out to another user, you may recall it from them. For instructions on recalling an item, please see the Renewals, Recalls, and Fines web page on the Syracuse Universities Libraries website. (Please note that the fine policy listed on that page is different than the fine policy at the Law Library.)
