Alumni & Bar Services
The H. Douglas Barclay Law Library offers a range of library services to College of Law alumni and members of area bar associations.
The College of Law is open to the general public Monday - Friday from 7am - 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 4pm during the academic year. Please note that the building is closed to the public during all Carrier Dome events. Students, faculty and staff must use their ID cards to access the building when the main doors are locked. Summer and holiday access varies. For current access information, please call 443-9570.

GETTING TO THE BARCLAY LAW LIBRARY
COURTESY CARDS
All Syracuse University College of Law graduates and all members of Upstate New York County Bar Associations are eligible for Barclay Law Library courtesy cards. These cards, valid for 5 years, may be used to borrow Barclay Law Library circulating materials (loan periods vary).
To apply for a courtesy card, please complete our Courtesy Card Application Form.
COLLECTIONS AVAILABLE TO COLLEGE OF LAW ALUMNI
Visitors may consult the Barclay Law Library's extensive print, microform and audio-visual collections without charge. In addition, the Barclay Law Library's Electronic Research Center offers alumni access to a selection of electronic indexes and full-text collections, with laser printing and downloading capability available free of charge.
Researchers may also access the Barclay Law Library's online catalog, SUMMIT, which also includes the collections of the Syracuse University Library and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
DOCUMENT DELIVERY AND DOCUMENT DUPLICATION SERVICES
The Barclay Law Library offers reasonably priced print and electronic document delivery services to individuals and law firms. If you prefer to make your own copies in the library, please inquire whether your law firm or organization maintains a copy card on account with us. You may also purchase an individual card from Support Services (Rm. 118) during College business hours. For more information about these services, please contact our Circulation Desk.
