If you have any questions about any of these polices, please speak with someone at our Circulation Desk. If you are not on campus, you can contact them by phone at (315) 443-9570, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Current students, faculty and staff of Syracuse University may borrow books from the Barclay Law Library. To learn more about our borrowing policies, such as the length of the loan period and accrual of overdue charges, please see our Borrowing Privileges and Policies page
If you need a book or a copy of an article that is not available on the Syracuse University campus, we will try to obtain a copy for you through interlibrary loan:
- If it is a book you are interested in borrowing, use this book request form
- If it is an article that you need a copy of, use this article request form
- If you need any help with the forms, or identifying what information you need, please contact a Reference Librarian.
The Barclay Law Library only provides this service to current Syracuse law students. If you are a student in another department of Syracuse University, please submit your interlibrary loan requests through Bird Library.
If an item that you would like to see is currently checked out to another user, you may recall it from them. For instructions on recalling an item, please see the How Do I Place a Hold or Recall?
