College of Law Dean Craig M. Boise has announced the appointment of Michelle Wilcox G’12 to Director of Student Life. In this role, Wilcox will direct and manage the Office of Student Life, including direct supervision of student life staff and overseeing all functions of the Office. She will continue to oversee student activities and organizations.
Wilcox was previously the College of Law’s Associate Director for Student Life – Student Programs. She will work closely with Kelly Curtis, Assistant Dean of Students, to assist students in reaching their academic and professional goals while enrolled at the College of Law.
“Michelle has provided effective leadership and direction of the College of Law’s many student-focused programs and activities for a number of years and fully understands their importance to a well-rounded legal education,” says Dean Boise. “I am positive that Michelle will continue our tradition of strong student activities and groups, while broadening her leadership of our Office of Student Life.”
Wilcox received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babson College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University.
“At the College of Law, a student’s experience outside of the classroom is critical to their success both in law school and in the profession,’ says Wilcox. “The Office of Student Life is dedicated to creating the best opportunities for our students to gain knowledge and skills that are geared to their special interests.”
