College of Law Kicks Off 39th Law in London Summer Externship Program
Thirteen law students from the College of Law and six from other universities recently began their Law in London summer externship program. The program started with a welcome event and introduction to the city of London and the United Kingdom. This is the 39th year that the College of Law is hosting the eight-week-long immersive educational and cultural program in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
Law in London combines coursework and guest lecturers featuring legal scholars and expert from the United Kingdom in addition to externship placements that give students a greater understanding of international law. Externships include placements with the Crown Prosecution Service, International corporations, a Crown Court Judge, the AIRE Centre (human rights in Europe) and barristers.
