College of Law faculty, staff and students along with members of the University and local community recently welcomed Dean-Designate Craig M. Boise at Dineen Hall. The event featured a short formal program in the Gray Ceremonial Courtroom followed by a reception in the Levy Atrium.
In her remarks, LaVonda N. The search committee thought he was the right person at the right time to lead Syracuse University College of Law to new levels of excellence. We are confident he will be a tremendous asset to both the College and the entire University.”
Dean-Designate Boise remarked, “I want Syracuse Law to be seen as the destination for anyone with the dream of studying the law. Our faculty will continue to expand and develop, refine and augment our understanding of the law through their scholarship. I also want Syracuse Law to be known as a place for expanding legal education into new areas, as a laboratory for new teaching methods, as an incubator for new legal education programs.”
Dean-Designate Boise will assume his new role on July 1, 2016.
