Professor Bybee Discusses Civility in the Presidential Election
Keith Bybee, the Paul E. and Hon. Joanne F. Alper ’72 Judiciary Studies Professor at the College of Law and Professor of Political Science at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and author of “How Civility Works," recently commented on civility in the U.S. Presidential election.
In the Christian Science Monitor article, Bybee notes, “We shouldn’t identify every breach of decorum as a signal that there are no manners. Provocation is a time honored political tactic, and we’ve seen a lot in this campaign.”
