Associate Professor of Law Tara Helfman has contributed the article “Is Gerrymander on its Way Out?” to Commentary Magazine.

In the article, Helfman discusses current gerrymander cases under review, including Supreme Court of the United States cases Bethune-Hill v. Virginia State Board of Elections and McCrory v. Harris and potential implications.

Helfman states, “The unconstitutionality of racial gerrymandering is settled law, but the constitutionality of partisan gerrymandering is now under assault.”
