Professors Ryan and Risman Attend Global Lawyering and Skills Conference
College of Law professors Shannon Ryan and Richard Risman are in attendance of the Global Lawyering and Skills conference in Verona, Italy where they are meeting with colleagues from around the world to discuss the teaching of law to international students in LLM programs and other programs throughout the world, including the United States. Ryan and Risman will be presenting at the conference regarding the successes of our LL.M. program and best methods of teaching international students in American law.
The conference has been held for over a decade on a biannual basis and is attended this year by 180 professors from over 16 countries. This opportunity affords the College of Law the chance not only to make new connections throughout the international legal education committee but moreover to learn the most up-to-date principles of teaching international students especially in the college of law's international LLM program.
