Semester in Washington D.C. Program Hosts Dean Boise

Posted on Monday 7/25/2016

The Semester in Washington D.C. Externship Program recently welcomed Dean Craig M. Boise as its Distinguished Guest Lecturer.

After discussing his background, Dean Boise focused on the skills today’s lawyers need to succeed, such as public speaking and project management and how the College of Law will be helping students sharpen these talents. The lecture was followed by an alumni networking reception.

“The seminar and alumni event were outstanding. The conversation we had with Dean Boise had our group buzzing. And the event at Carmine's also broke the scale. I had great conversations with such a diverse and impressive cast of alumni and my excel sheet of contacts has greatly been expanded. I can't wait for an incoming 1L to ask me if this program is worth it,” said Dan Ostrin 2L.
