David M. Tang

David M. Tang received his Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University in 1999, and his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2005.  During law school, Mr. Tang served as Managing Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and participated in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. He served as the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association’s (APALSA) Social Chair and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. 

Mr. Tang is an associate in Underberg & Kessler LLP’s Litigation and Creditors’ Rights practice groups.  He represents businesses, individuals and health care clients in state and federal courts. Mr. Tang's past accomplishments include serving as an associate at Harris Beach PLLC, and as a legal assistant at White & Case LLP in New York City.  He also interned at the U.S. Department of Justice and at the State Department.

Mr. Tang is the Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association's Diversity Committee and served as a mentor in its Lawyers for Learning program. He serves on the Board of Directors of Providence Housing Development Corporation and the Center for Dispute Settlement.  He currently serves on the Syracuse University Law Alumni Association’s Board of Directors. 

In 2012, The Daily Record selected Mr. Tang as an “Up & Coming Attorney” for demonstrating a significant commitment and contribution to the legal profession.
