Frank Carbonetti L'99

Frank Carbonetti

Frank Carbonetti received his B.A. in Political Science from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1996 and J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1999. While a student at the College of Law, he had the rare experience of trying a high profile case to completion in the Syracuse Criminal City Court. During the spring of 1995, Mr. Carbonetti also had the opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious Public Defender offices in the United States, the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, where he served as an investigator/case assistant.

Mr. Carbonetti began working as a law clerk at Lucianna & Lucianna, P.A. in 1996, and started as an associate in 1999. He became a partner alongside Frank P. Lucianna and Diane Lucianna in 2009. Mr. Carbonetti handles Municipal Court cases, which include DWIs, traffic tickets and Disorderly Persons Offenses, as well as Superior Court matters, which deal with felonies such as drug distribution to murder, ranging from 1st degree to 4th degree.

Born and raised in Lodi, New Jersey, Mr. Carbonetti is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York. He finds criminal defense exciting and challenging – comparable to playing a game of chess. Ironically, his grandfather (also named Frank Carbonetti), was an Assistant Prosecutor in Bergen County in the 1950's-1960's and had criminal trials against defense attorney/partner at Lucianna & Lucianna, Frank P. Lucianna.
