Emily  Brown

Professor Brown teaches legal writing, research, and analysis. Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Brown worked in private practice and the public sector. She represented individuals, non-profit organizations, and corporations during all stages of civil litigation and served as chief negotiator for collective bargaining agreements. Before attending law school, Professor Brown worked in politics and government. During that time, she managed political campaigns for state and federal offices and served as a government staffer for state and local elected officials.

Professor Brown earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the Syracuse University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin.
