Professor Brown teaches legal writing, research, and analysis. Prior to joining the faculty, Brown worked in private practice and the public sector. She represented individuals, non-profit organizations, and corporations during all stages of civil litigation and served as chief negotiator for collective bargaining agreements. Before attending law school, Brown worked in politics and government. During that time, she managed political campaigns for state and federal offices and served as a government staffer for state and local elected officials.
Brown earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin.
