Professor Abramovsky teaches and conducts research in the area of insurance law. She is general managing editor of Bender’s New York Insurance Law Treatise and teaches classes in insurance law, commercial transactions, and professional responsibility. She also co-directs the college’s Law in London program that provides second and third-year law students an opportunity to study comparative law.
Before coming to Syracuse, Professor Abramovsky taught at Florida State University. Previously, she was associated with the New York Law firm Anderson, Kill and Olick, where she was a member of the insurance coverage group. Professor Abramovsky earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania. While at law school, Professor Abramovsky was the managing editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law, where she was published in the field of ethics.
