Since graduating from Syracuse University College of Law in 1991, Deborah Moore has served as a career law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York to the Hon. Neal P. McCurn, the Hon. Howard G. Munson, and for the past twenty years to the Hon. Frederick J. Scullin, Jr. In her capacity as career law clerk, in addition to legal writing and research, she also supervises legal externs who spend a semester or a full academic year working in Chambers. She has been an adjunct at SUCOL for many years, most recently teaching the seminar for the Central New York Externship Program and the Pro Bono Scholars Program. During her career, she has served on the Boards of several local not-for-profit organizations, including Make-A-Wish Central New York, Francis House, and Vera House.
