Thomas Myers is a retired New York attorney “Emeritus” and serves as the pro bono coordinator for Bond, Schoeneck & King. Since 2012, he has been annually designated an “Empire State Counsel” by the New York State Bar Association for his pro bono services. He frequently lectures on New York Civil Practice for the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Onondaga County Bar Association, and other bench and bar groups.
Over the years, Thomas successfully prosecuted and defended commercial and personal injury claims for both individual and institutional clients. He has special experience in the areas of business dissolutions, insurance errors and omissions, medical malpractice, professional discipline, professional licensing, psychiatry and suicidality.
Mr. Myers has been an Adjunct Professor at the SU College of Law since 1990.
