Edward H. Townsend(Ted), L'10
Ted H. Townsend is an associate at Harter Secrest and Emery LLP in the Rochester office. His practice areas include trusts and estates. He counsels clients with respect to their testamentary planning, planning for possible disability through powers of attorney and health care proxies, and integrating beneficiary designations into the clients’ estate plans. Ted earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2010 and his B.A. in history from Trinity College. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and a member of the Monroe County Bar Association Trusts & Estates and Young Lawyers Sections. While at Syracuse Law, Ted was Editor-in-Chief of the Syracuse Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.
