Jim Williams is a Staff Attorney at Legal Services of Central New York (LSCNY) where he represents and counsels low-wage workers in employment law matters. Prior to working at LSCNY, he worked for many years at the National Employment Law Project (NELP), first as a law student, then Staff Attorney and then for six years as Executive Director. In the early 1990s, he worked for five years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Labor Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s office. Throughout his career, Mr. Williams has been active in bar associations and he currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Onondaga County Bar Association and is helping to build the resources available to low income clients through the Onondaga County Volunteer Lawyers Project.
