Admitted Student Days provide an opportunity for admitted students to experience Syracuse Law firsthand.

Dates and Agenda of our Admitted Student Days

Each program runs from approximately 9:00am - 2:30pm (registration and coffee/pastries start at 8:30am). These programs are all on Friday's on the below dates:

  • Friday, March 10
  • Friday, March 24
  • Friday, March 31
  • Friday, April 7

Admitted Student Days provide the opportunity to:

  • meet with current law students
  • attend a first-year law class
  • meet with career services and financial aid representatives
  • hear from a College of Law alumnus/alumna
  • tour the new Syracuse Law facility, Dineen Hall
  • have lunch with law professors and students
  • tour on-campus law student apartments

RSVP to an Admitted Student Day

Registration for the 2017 Admitted Student Day events has closed. If you have any questions please contact The Office of Admissions at 315-443-1962 or admissions@law.syr.edu 

If you are in town the night before your admitted student day, we welcome you to attend a mixer at Aster Pantry & Parlor in downtown Syracuse, NY. 

  • The mixer will take place from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the parlor room of Aster the Thursday before your registered admitted student day
  • You will have the opportunity to connect with staff, current students, and local alumni
  • RSVP to this event on the Admitted Student Day RSVP form listed above

Directions and Parking Information:
Visitors who arrive in Syracuse by plane, bus, or train, will find taxi service convenient for the short drive to campus. Visitors who drive to campus and take the NY State Thruway east or west to Syracuse should exit at Interstate 81 and proceed south. Northbound and southbound travelers should also follow Interstate 81 to Syracuse.

From Interstate 81, exit at Adams Street and proceed up the Adams Street hill to the light at Irving Ave. Make a right on Irving and proceed to the end (the Carrier Dome will be on your left). At the end of Irving Ave. make a quick right on East Raynor and a quick right on Stadium Place. VIP parking will have been arranged for you in the Irving Garage.

Give your name to the attendant upon entering the garage. Locate parking on any of the five levels of the parking garage and exit on the first level (entry off Irving Ave.) You will then take an immediate right out of the garage and enter the main entrance to Dineen Hall on your right hand side. Upon entering the building, you will enter the security gates and proceed to the First Floor Atrium for Admitted Student Day registration.

​Syracuse Law will cover hotel expenses at any of the hotels listed below if you live outside of a 150 mile radius of Syracuse. You may stay at any one of these hotels for either the night preceding or night of an Admitted Student Day (based on hotel availability).
