In December 2020, Syrian native Yasmeen Eesa LL.M.‘19 spoke with Amicus Partners about her reasons for enrolling for a master’s degree in the US, her experience as a law student at Syracuse, the US bar qualification route, and much more.
“Syracuse law school has diverse courses and professional professors who lead you to success if you have the intention to do so and work hard,” says Eesa. “From my experience in the LL.M. program, it is incredible how you can attend the courses with attorneys from all over the world besides the United States. [You can hear] different perspectives, opinions, rules, cases, learn from professors, share knowledge, tradition and experiences with many people from different countries. It was great for me.”
